about us

Daphne and Graham live down in Penzance in Cornwall (Daphne is Cornish) with their dog Jago. It's beautiful and peaceful, with the sounds of the sea never far away. They’ve already begun work on the second Calmtime album.

Graham Smith Graham Smith has been a professional musician for many years, recording and performing with musicians such as Al Stewart, Eric Clapton, Bob Weir and Cat Stevens. He has been a session musician, songwriter, singer and bandleader in UK, Europe and California.

Since 1992 Graham has used his experience as a coach, teacher and therapist to help adults and children relax and become more confident, so they can reach their full potential.

He trains and coaches people in ways of communicating more effectively and making sense of the world in empowering ways. Along the way, he has taught at universities and lectured at the Royal Society.

Daphne Nancholas

Daphne Nancholas has been a professional singer for many years in the UK and USA. Her effortless, melodic sound and original writing style make her a true original.

As a registered homeopath who specialises in the female cycle, she helps many pregnant women, mothers and babies.

Pete Airey is a master of the classical, flamenco, jazz and blues guitar. He is widely recognised for his sensitive melodic style. Pete’s career has included time with Gryphon – prominent on the folk festival circuit - and work with his own Airey P Band. He is based in Bristol.

Christoffer de Graal is an accomplished orchestral viola player. He has travelled the world on a Churchill scholarship, researching how music affects people from every culture. Christoffer and Graham share a professional background in NLP and Symbolic Modelling. His work is helping people to discover their creativity. He lives in Devon.

John Waterhouse, many years ago, was sound engineer for Canton Trig, a band Graham co-founded. John ran Bristol’s famous Christchurch Studios as technical director of the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. John, widely known as ‘Boffin’, is now studying acupuncture. He lives in Bristol.
